Corn Snow

Hello Skiers and Boarders,

Our sky awoke gray this morning.  Light was flat at the beginning.  As the morning progressed more blue than gray was visible overhead.  Spring was the theme today as the top layer of snow has made the transition corn.  Early runs on a smooth groomed surface was delightful.

Later in the morning skiing on piste at Sherwood and Scott were exhilarating.  A soft creamy surface brings a smile to my face.  We toured Sun Bowl and Big Bend in the High Traverse territory where conditions were variable.  A nice spring surface punctuated with ski tracks that made parts of the ride a little rough.  The open slope offered in the Big Bend area was more smooth than parts of Sun Bowl.

We are hoping for another nice morning tomorrow before our weather changes late Thursday and into Saturday.

Enjoy your day,
