Hello Skiers and Boarders,
It was a fine day on the hill today. Cold air with a clear blue sky. Surface conditions are prime winter cut-up and packed powder with a few untracked spots remaining. Summit was on wind hold as an east wind blew strongly upslope last night. Some of the prime light powder we had during the day yesterday was wind affected today, but all was good. We tried going off into the woods next to Bobby’s Run on Scott only to find rocks, logs and branches just under the surface. We ended up skiing a number of runs under the Alpine Bowl Chair and under the Sherwood Cliffs where piles of powder remained between skier tracks. It just felt like a real winter ski day on the hill today.
