Good Grooming, Dry Hills

Hello Skiers and Boarders,

Warm and sunny weather continues in Tahoe.  Groomed runs have been excellent in the early mornings with off piste turning from firm to spring as the morning progresses.  Wolverine, D8, Sunspot, Alpine Bowl, and Terry’s Return have all been well groomed each morning.  Ridge Run on Scott has also been groomed and softens around 10 to 11 am.  Weather for the future is not looking great. More dry days are ahead.  This weekend may be cool and breezy as that is the forecast.  If this holds true, we may be looking at firm conditions.

A couple of photos are attached showing good grooming and dry hills off to the east.  The paved bike trail along the Truckee River and into Squaw Valley is dry and open for walking and riding.  It may be possible to hike the Five Lakes Trail as it looks pretty dry from the top of Summit.

Good luck to all the Olympic athletes from Tahoe who are now in South Korea.

Enjoy your day,

Andy
