Not so Good Today

Hello Skiers and Riders,

We made a few quick runs this morning.  Summit and Sherwood were turning at 8:30 with Scott planned for the afternoon.  There is plenty of snow.  Grooming was not the best.  The upper mountain groomed runs were very firm.  East coast skiers would have been happy on Sunspot which was hard as a rock.  Wolverine was the best for the first few hours.  Below Roundhouse the snow was quite nice.  A soft corn surface.  Off piste, especially because it has not been skied all week was pitted and firm or rotten, at least in the morning. The sky was cloudy.  Rain began dropping around 10:30.  The parking lot was basically empty.  It was not the best morning of the season.  A photo taken from the top of Summit is attached.  Another photo of Donner Lake taken Thursday when the sun was shining is also attached.

Just in case you are looking for a condominium near the slopes at Alpine.  A 3 bedroom 2 bath townhome just came on the market.  Clean and somewhat upgraded.  These are about 1200 sq.ft. in size.  It is available for viewing.  Asking price is a reasonable $395,000.

Enjoy your day,

Andy
