Hello Skiers and Riders,
I did not hit the slopes today, but friends of mine reported the skiing to be pretty good, especially this afternoon. It has been snowing heavily all day. Snow falling along the Truckee River is very wet, but white. It is hanging on tree branches and power lines. Roads are turning to piles of mush. It appears as if the depth is building beyond one foot on the hill. It is said to be as deep as two feet in spots.
Attached are a couple of photos sent to me this afternoon from Shelly showing what looks like some good powder skiing.
